Hello, I'm Champs Sneakers.
We always have various questions about shoes. Then Champs Sneakers will answer them one by one in this article.
Are new shoes grinding feet because the shoes are too small?
There may be two reasons for the wear of the outer ankle bone in new shoes: one is that the shoe is very small, resulting in no gap or very small gap between it and the foot, and it will wear the foot. Another reason is that the design of the shoes is unreasonable, resulting in the uppers being too high, and it is easy to do this without wearing high-tops at ordinary times.
Champs Sneakers tells you what to do if your new shoes grind your feet
1. Paste and paste
If the size of the shoes is appropriate, then you can usually put a Band-Aid on the place where the outer ankle bone is worn to reduce the time it is in direct contact with the shoes, which can prevent the skin from being worn. If there is no Band-Aid, you can use a soft pad instead, but every day Replace it, and it will ease after 2-3 days.
2. Alcohol soaking
Use medical alcohol or white wine to soak in gauze, then cover the shoes with the gauze, and then soak them in the machine to cover them after drying. After 1-2 days, these areas will become soft and the shoes will not be so hard. In the future, the problem of its grinding feet will be slowed down a lot.
3. Stretch with shoe supports
If the outer ankle bone is worn because the shoes are too tight, you can use the shoe support to make the shoes bigger. Generally, the shoes will be much better than when they were just bought for 24 hours. After they are not so tight, use the thicker Socks or padded pads to make up, usually after 2 weeks can be worn normally.
4. Hammer side strike
Some new shoes grind their feet because of the material. You can tap the heel and side of the shoe with a hammer. After repeated tapping, the upper will become soft. The principle is different from that of alcohol soaking, but the effect is basically the same. Soften the shoes properly to reduce the problem of grinding feet.
